About the 2022 Stroke Awards
Applications are open for the 2022 Stroke Awards

  • Nominations close 11 February 2022
  • The Stroke Foundation is only able to accept nominations from within Australia. We regret that any nominees currently living overseas will not be considered during the judging process. 
  • Previous winners cannot nominate for the same category they have been awarded in previously. 
  • Finalists will be announced in April 2022. 
  • Winners of each category will be announced in May 2022. 
  • The Stroke Foundation’s decision is final. 
  • Please note that award finalists and winners may be featured in Stroke Foundation’s media and publicity activities. 
  • We suggest you prepare your answers in a word document and copy into the nomination form once you are ready. 
  • We encourage nominations from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Stroke survivors, carers, or volunteers are eligible for this Award



Creative Award
Stroke survivors are eligible for this Award.

Fundraiser of the Year Award
Nominees who raise funds for Stroke Foundation are eligible for this Award.



Volunteer of the Year Award
Nominees who Volunteer at Stroke Foundation are eligible for this Award.



President's Achievement Award
Nominees who contribute to the Stroke Foundation's Mission in a significant way are eligible for this Award.



Nominations must be endorsed by a reference, please provide contact details for us to speak to one other referee.









Stroke Warrior Award
Young stroke survivors and carers are eligible for this Award. We want to celebrate the efforts and impacts of the youngest members of the Australian stroke community.


Courage Award
Stroke survivors and carers are eligible for this Award.
